Linux Mint is a fully featured and nicely designed implementation of Ubuntu. The full version (currently Linux Mint 4.0 "Daryna") comes with a range of binary blobs, utilities and scripts installed by default, making it incredibly easy for new users to install non-free codecs, drivers and applications. There are several concurrent versions with different approaches to the non-free inclusions and desktop managers. See the Linux Mint main page for details.
