Linux ICE (In Car Entertainment) is a full featured operating system designed for car PC systems.
Linux ICE combines the ease of the Ubuntu distribution without the non-car-pc stuff. Under the hood, Linux ICE is simply a remastered version of Ubuntu and is 100% binary equal with the base Ubuntu core.
The goal of Linux ICE is to have a self contained Operating System with all of the essentials required to run in an automotive environment. Listed below are some of the essentials that Linux ICE includes:
